Server.conf:
You will find a file called Server.conf in the install directory of the game.
This is a very config file that allows to host and connect to custom servers.
The file has 3 lines that must be there and in order!
The first line is the ip or domain of the game server
The second line is the port of the game server
The 3rd line can either be 0 or 1. 0 means this is a client installation and 1 means that this is a server.
So to host your own server all you have to do is to change the 0 into a 1 and start the game for a fun LAN party with your friends! (You can then also play as the server instance. This is like the "host" in other games)
You can also specify the command line options -batchmode and -nographics if you intend to host a headless server.
It is recommended to backup the original Server.conf that already has the settings for the official servers configured.
